A five member Board of Directors governs AfriCOG; members of the board are Stella Chege, Maina Kiai, Duncan Okello*, John Githongo, Funmi Olonisakin and Gladwell Otieno (ex-officio)

The Board sets policy and strategic direction for the Organisation and appoints an Executive Director who manages the affairs of AfriCOG and provides leadership in implementing directives of the Board and activities of the organisation.

*Ducan Okello resigned when he joined the judiciary as Chief of Staff on 3rd October 2011
